11th March 2013 (16:42)

And here's the other thing I do on Mondays. :)  When you all get shot and cannot carry on: though you die, La Résistance lives on!

Part 15: La Résistance lives on

Next time: Part 16: Imitation (see: Flattery).

Chibis by tektek.org
Original story by and copyright to J R R Tolkien, ed. C Tolkien: Primarily based on the Silmarillion, but incorporating ideas from the 12-volume History of Middle Earth series.

Ah yes, Tolkien and his Not At All World War II analogues. Rule, Ulmo, Ulmo rule the waves!

So how come only Nightshirt gets a torch?

Considering Tolkien wrote the original story this is based on in about 1916 or so, I'm not sure how it could really be a WW2 analogue. ;)

They don't have much wood, so they have to conserve torches, One per group. :) Actually, I gave them torches so I could justify using the chibis at normal brightness, instead of reducing the light level on them all to simulate darkness - but giving a torch to all of them seemed over the top.

Now I'm picturing Bad-Ass Yavanna dressed in camouflage, doing backflips and fighting a Balrog with a pair of sais.

Or given that the title is 'La Résistance', how about Michelle from 'Allo 'Allo?
:)

I have a feeling, though, that she regaled Manwe with her opinion of his decision more than "only vunce."
