The History of Middle-earth (chibi version) - Part 157 - Ambition

2nd October 2014 (12:09)

Well, I'm back.

Fëanor has made the Silmarils, Melkor is subtly spreading rumours, and the Noldor are starting to feel a certain amount of unhappiness. Now read on...

If you don't remember them from before, the Elves here are all grandchildren of Finwë: from left to right (top row) Finrod Felagund, Fingon, Aegnor, Turgon, Argon and Galadriel. Fingon, Turgon and Argon are the sons of Fingolfin, the other three are children of Finarfin. Angrod and Aredhel must be busy doing other things. :)

Part 157: Ambition

Next time: Part 158: Restiveness

Chibis by tektek.org
Original story by and copyright to J R R Tolkien, ed. C Tolkien: Primarily based on the Silmarillion, but incorporating ideas from the 12-volume History of Middle Earth series.

GALADRIEL: "I say screw this fascist regime! We're all just flowers in the dustbin. No future, no future for us..."

FINROD: "But if everyone is a king, doesn't that mean nobody is a king?"

GALDRIEL: "Not everybody gets to be a queen, though."

ARGON: "I'm a noble gas!"

"But if everyone is a king, doesn't that mean nobody is a king?"

No gods, no masters!
Or alternatively, There's a new world for the winning, There's a new world to be won.

Winter is coming!

Oh wait, that's a different series. :-)

Although the story may get really dark real soon... :-)

Not as dark as it was before.

There's stars now. :)

Hmm

Finrod's 'Felagund' always make me think that he is the one who should have had seven sons. I think it is because it sounds like Fecund...

It could be a lot worse, if you go by the first two syllables instead of the last one...

Good to see you back with this!
Galadriel looks so cute calling her poor grandfather a "loyal puppet"...

Thanks!

Galadriel is a teenage radical. I can imagine her organising a group of activists to stand outside the King's house in Tirion waving placards and chanting. :)
