The history of Middle-Earth (chibi version): Part 54: For the children

I was intrigued to discover that in Tolkien's worldview nobody (except God) is perfect - not even the chief archangel, lord of the Valar, Elder King himself. Manwë's indecisiveness and unwillingness to fight Melkor was specifically called out by Tolkien as being the moment where he fell short of perfection. (The flipside of that worldview is that everybody is also redeemable - even Melkor, theoretically - but only if they  truly repent of their sins.)

Part 54: For the children

Next time: Part 55: Deus vult
