The History of Middle-earth (chibi version) - Part 132 - A truth universally acknowledged

12th June 2014 (16:25)

So, today's cartoon (and the next one) are re-telling the same story as in my recent fic A matter of perspective, except in cute chibi 800x600 form. In fact, I created this cartoon some time ago, and wrote the story based on it, rather than vice-versa. You might spot that some of the dialogue is word-for-word the same.

I'd be interested to know if the imagery fits the way people imagined it being from the written story?

Part 132: A truth universally acknowledged

Next time: Part 133: With apologies to Filippo Brunelleschi

Original story by and copyright to J R R Tolkien, ed. C Tolkien: Primarily based on the Silmarillion, but incorporating ideas from the 12-volume History of Middle Earth series.

From his high throne atop Mount Taniquetil Manwë can see everything that happens within Valinor. So the Elves can blink as much as they like, there'll always be someone watching the statue.

Unless someone destroys the Two Trees and turns out the lights, of course - but how likely is that to happen?
