The History of Middle-earth (chibi version) - Part 173 - Unwanted guest

1st December 2014 (18:14)

Can anyone think of a good knock knock joke revolving around 'Melkor who?' I was thinking of a milkman joke (Melkor = Milk or...) but I'm not sure anyone under the age of 45 or so will know what a milkman is...

Notes: Chromium is the main additive to iron to make stainless steel. Celebrimbor is Curufin's son, hence Fëanor's grandson.

Is Manwë catholic?

Technically no, because this is before the birth of Jesus, and I don't know if Eru ever shared his plans in that regard with the Valar. He's sort of proto-Catholic.

Awww, little Celebrimbor! So cute^-^ I'm sure his life will be all rainbows and sparkles and puppy dogs, right?.....right?

Well, if you ignore the 2500 years of pain and misery and the countless years spent in Mandos, I'm sure the rest of his life will be wonderful.

avpm totally awesome

Eeep! I love baby Celebrimbor!
(And I have to say that I'm not Curufin's biggest fan, but seeing him call Celebrimbor 'kiddo' is just strangely PERFECT and adorable.)

They're all still innocent at this point in time.

Except Fëanor himself. He's losing it.

Milkman

Actually, in the last ten years or so, at least in this area (NE New Jersey), milkmen have returned. On the other hand, the obvious punchline, “Melkor Cream?”, is just as dated.
