At least they don't have seven brides. That would double the number of new characters you have to keep track of!
Note that I've designed Fëanor's sons so they all have a silver 8-pointed star embroidered on the front of their shirt; that way you can tell their family allegiance even if you can't always remember which one is which.
As a reminder: at this point in history Elves have a father-name and a mother-name, given by the respective parent. Later on in the story (and as such an anachronism at this point) they also have a translation or adaptation of their name into Sindarin. Thus Curufinwë Fëanáro (fathername, mothername) becomes Fëanor in Sindarin; Nelyafinwë Maitimo becomes Maedhros in Sindarin.
