The History of Middle-earth (chibi version) - Part 221 - Let's go! Maybe.

Tolkien's one-paragraph description of which of the Noldor were on which side in the debate is highly confusing...  But it seems that Galadriel, Fingon, Aegnor and Angrod were keen to accompany Fëanor; Fingolfin, Turgon and Finrod thought he was being rash and foolish; and Finarfin sought to calm everyone down and stop them fighting. The others aren't really mentioned, and apparently Aredhel wasn't even there. (So where was she?)

Turgon's daughter will be Idril Celebrindal, one of three fourth-generation scions of the House of Finwë born in Valinor (the others being Orodreth and Celebrimbor).

Part 221: Let's go! Maybe.

Next time: Part 222: Here we go.

Chibis by the now-dead website formerly known as
Original story by and copyright to J R R Tolkien, ed. C Tolkien: Primarily based on the Silmarillion, but incorporating ideas from the 12-volume History of Middle Earth series.
