The History of Middle-earth (chibi version) - Part 235 - Kinslaying

7th September 2015 (14:03)

Well, i'm back. Sorry about the hiatus; it wasn't anything bad!

If you remember from last time, Fëanor is trying to steal the Teleri ships, and things just went horribly wrong.

(Note: there's actually more Noldor than just Fëanor and his sons present in this scene; just showing them is artistic license.)

Part 235 Kinslaying

Next time: Part 236: To the rescue

Chibis by the now-dead website formerly known as tektek.org
Original story by and copyright to J R R Tolkien, ed. C Tolkien: Primarily based on the Silmarillion, but incorporating ideas from the 12-volume History of Middle Earth series.

I'm glad to see this back!

The Teleri look oddly cheerful about the Kinslaying.

(I know the chibis can't actually change expression, it just amuses me.)

They're not smiling, that's a rictus of battle rage!

(That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Yay! The story continues!

The SP reference would have worked better if you had named the poor Teler. Cemnion?

I did think of that, but decided it would be too forced. Apart from Olwë and Eärwen I don't think there are any named Teleri in the books, are there?

Not that I can think of, not even in the book of Lost Tales. Actually sad, even the Vanyar get Ingwion and Elemmire.
