The History of Middle-earth (chibi version) - Part 244 - Enemies are where you find them

9th October 2015 (10:51)

To clarify: Fëanor was about to go, in the last cartoon, when Maedhos said "What about Galadriel?" — so he turned back to her.

Also, for tone of voice here think 'Icy politeness' with an element of "gritted teeth". :)

I love the smell of elf blood in the morning. Smells like victory. With just a hint of patchouli.

Give Fëanor time and I'm sure he'd invent napalm.

    Also helicopters.

Perfect. Superb characterization for both of them.

I particularly like Feanor offering Galadriel a place onboard the ships and her proudly refusing.

Feanor has developed a certain pragmatism at this point, he sees Galadriel's strenght and deems her useful, no matter her actions here.

And Galadriel, well it's a preview of her proudly refusing the pardon of the Valar. That's why I like the original heritage of Celeborn as a Nandor the best; it has Galadriel tracking alone through all of Eriador to found a kingdom among the woodelves. Badass (and stubborn)

I could see Feanor in a Blackhawk with napalm. Oh yeah.

Galadriel is stubborn and unbowed. Although she's not my favorite character, I do like the fact that she is stubbornly independent and unafraid.
